Delete Account

1. How to request account deletion

The fastest method is available directly inside the MBR Data mobile application:

1. Sign in to your MBR Data account.
2. Open Profile.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Review the warning and confirm your request.

If you cannot access the application, email support@mbrdata.com from your registered email address. Include your registered full name, username, email address, and phone number. Never include your password, transaction PIN, OTP, or card PIN.

2. Before requesting deletion

• Resolve pending transactions, disputes, refunds, and support requests.
• Withdraw or use any eligible wallet balance, subject to the applicable account rules.
• Download receipts or records you wish to keep.
• Remove the account from devices you no longer control.

3. Information deleted or de-identified

After ownership is verified and the request is approved, information no longer required may be deleted or de-identified. This can include profile details, stored preferences, device tokens, saved beneficiaries, and non-essential support or usage records.

4. Information that may be retained

Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for transaction reconciliation, fraud prevention, security, disputes, tax, audits, or legal and regulatory obligations. Access to retained information is restricted, and it is deleted or de-identified when the applicable retention need ends.

5. Verification and processing time

We may ask for additional information through a secure channel to confirm account ownership. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Pending transactions, disputes, legal restrictions, or difficulty verifying ownership may require additional time.

6. Effect of deletion

• You will lose access to the account and its services.
• Deletion may be irreversible after it is completed.
• Rewards, saved details, and preferences may be permanently removed.
• You may need to register again if you later want to use the service.
